Consultations are complimentary for wedding cake orders, and may be available for other cakes for a nominal fee, depending on the complexity of the design.
At the consultation, you will have the opportunity to taste different cake flavors and fillings, as well as brainstorm ideas for the design of the cake. If you already know which direction you would like to go, we recommend bringing any pictures, invitations etc. Otherwise, we have plenty of inspirational images to browse through to get the creative juices flowing.
Cake consultations last about an hour with a tasting of two cake flavors and a choice of fillings. Special requests, be it organic cakes, vegan cakes, eggless cakes, or just a different flavor like red velvet, please let us know when scheduling the consultation as we'll have to ensure that we'll have samples available for tasting. Special requests are subject to a $35.00 charge.
Consultations are generally scheduled back to back (to back!) so please be on time so we'll have ample time to plan your cake. If you for some reason need to cancel, we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time.
