We specialize in wedding cakes and specialty cakes for any occasion, including birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and corporate events. The vast majority of our cakes are covered in fondant, though we can do cakes covered in just buttercream in certain instances.

Yes, we also make cupcakes, decorated cookies, wedding and party favors, cake pops and other desserts.

We do deliver our cakes and desserts anywhere in the New York City, Long Island (including the Hamptons), upstate New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. We may be able to deliver further; please inquire for further details. At this time, we do not ship our cakes, though we can ship cupcakes and cookies.

Yes, we have perfected our vegan, gluten-free, eggless, sugar-free and organic recipes, and offer these options for most cake orders.

Pricing for our cakes depends on the design of the cake and the number of servings.  Our tiered cakes start at $6 per slice, and there is a $200 minimum per order.  Our 3D cakes start at $350.  Contact us for further information.

Yes, we work with a number of caterers, catering halls, restaurants and night clubs and do offer wholesale pricing; contact us for further information.

We do make cakes with tiers made out of foam, though this will generally not reduce the price of the cake as most of the cost of the cake happens to be the labor associated with its production.

Yes, we do offer cake tastings, which must be scheduled in advance (no walk-ins please).  We do like to give people an idea of pricing over the phone or email prior to scheduling an appointment.  Once scheduled, the consultation generally lasts a 1/2 hour to an hour, in which time we discuss design options as well as try a sampler of our cake flavors and fillings.  Note that we offer consultations at both the Long Island bakery location as well as the Manhattan sales office, so please note for which location you are being scheduled.  Also, please be on time so that you are given all the time you were allotted.

At this time, we do not charge for a standard consultation, in which you will be offered our standard cake flavors and fillings sampler. If you would like to try a specific cake flavor or filling that is not part of the sampler, please let us know in advance; there is a $35 fee for this, collected in advance via credit card. There is generally no charge for cake consultations for vegan or eggless options, though there may be a charge for gluten-free, organic and sugar-free cakes; contact us for more information.

In short, the process begins by you picking out design elements and determining the size of the party, and inquiring about a price via email or phone.  After that, you can place your order either over the phone or in person by scheduling an appointment (note–due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently not accepting in person visits to our stores–see question above on COVID-19).  Note that there is no order unless there is a deposit placed.  See below for deposit information.

Yes, we require a $200 or 50% deposit, whichever is greater, in order to secure the date, and consider your order placed.  This deposit is non-refundable, and ensures that we only take a certain number of orders for the date of your event.  The balance is due a week prior to delivery.  If you are picking up the cake, the balance can be paid when picked up (note–due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently not accepting in person visits to our stores–see question above on COVID-19). There is no refund for orders cancelled within one week of order date.

At this time, our shop in Long Island is not equipped for purchasing cakes on the spot as we primarily specialize in custom cakes to order, and need two to three weeks to turn cakes around, though we do take rush orders for orders within the week. Note that the Manhattan location is a sales office to meet with customers and offer tasting consultations.

As our bakery is located on Long Island, pickups are only available from the Long Island shop.  The Manhattan location is a sales office, and no pickups are possible from this location at this time.  We do offer delivery services to Manhattan and the 5 boroughs of NYC.
