Every wedding deserves a truly special cake and this creation by our designers was a joy to behold! Elegant, graceful and refined, this 5 tier cake perfectly suited the hugely prestigious affair which was held at the Brooklyn Museum. The cake is made with 5 round tiers all covered in a delicate ivory shaded fondant. The decorations on the tiers are simple and understated. The lower, middle and top tier have a quilted patten which we created by meticulously marking in each line of the quilted design. The second and forth tiers are plain. Around the base of each tier we placed a triple rows of pearls, giving the cake a grand majestic look. The highlight of the cake is the stunning flower display. Huge, softly-flowing, exquisitely crafted blooms cascade in abundance down from the top, over each tier to the base. Soft, delicate, pastel shades were used for the flowers. We used fondants in shades of white, pink and cream and added ivory to blend in with the tiers. This breathtaking creation was as beautiful as the bride herself! The fillings alternated in layers of chocolate and raspberry butter cream, and red velvet and chocolate hazelnut, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the 175 guests at the wedding.
